Goodbyes blog

One of my longtime interests is end-of-life care, especially communication during or after a person’s final days. That led me to launch Goodbyes by Debra Bradley Ruder, a blog that shares stories of people who’ve had a chance to say goodbye to a loved one at life’s end, as well as those who missed the chance. It offers tips for saying farewell, links to poignant goodbye stories heard, seen, and read elsewhere, and reflections about the meaning of saying goodbye.

Started in February 2008, the blog has been housed on the website for Growth House, an organization that provides education about end-of-life care, palliative medicine, and hospice. Growth House has an excellent search engine at www.growthhouse.org, so it’s easy to find topics covered in the Goodbyes blog.
